My Passion for Carving

Carving earrings has been a passion of mine ever since I learned the art form from my skilled uncles at the age of 27. Their expertise as master carvers inspired me to embark on this creative journey, and I have never looked back.

While my repertoire extends beyond earrings, there is something truly enchanting about these delicate pieces that captivate the hearts of many. When it comes to the materials used for carving, I find myself drawn to using materials such as whale bone, specifically sourced from the majestic Bowhead whale. Using materials such as ivory and whale bone allows me to create unique and stunning designs that not only showcase my craftsmanship but also reflect the natural beauty of these materials. In addition to whale bone and ivory, I also utilize baleen accents in my earring designs. Baleen is derived from the mouth plates of whales and adds an exquisite touch to the finished product.
